We’ve had several neighbors email us that their USPS mail has been taken. Please take the proper precautions.
Outgoing Mail
As stated before, our mail carrier has strongly recommended to never raise your “I have mail” red flag on the mailbox. The mail carrier will see your outgoing mail when they drop off mail.
If you see a neighbor with their mailbox indicator up, let them know the risk.

Incoming Mail
Purchase a locking mailbox that has the right size slot for a mail carrier to drop off mail, but requires you to use a key to open. If someone wants to get into it, they’ll need a crowbar or other prying instrument.

Available at Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace Hardware. Expect to spend from $35 up, depending on size.
