Special attention will be given to ongoing problems related to unhoused persons at Speedway/Alvernon, along and behind Alvernon Way and in Alvernon Park. Please join your neighbors on Saturday, October 28th for our annual Halloween parade! Gather in the park near the playground at 4:00, and join the parade at 4:30. The route this year is slightly longer but should only take about 30 minutes to complete. At the conclusion, hang around the park and enjoy dinner from food trucks. 2023 Halloween Parade Route

Twice a year, crews visit each of Tucson's 26 residential trash service areas to provide Brush & Bulky+ collection. This is your opportunity to clean out your yard, garage or storage shed and get rid of that unwanted debris. Tucson Brush & Bulky

Sat Oct 26 - Peter Howell Halloween Parade - Gather at 4:00 PM - parade starts at 4:30. The parade starts and ends at Alvernon Park near Alhambra and Longfellow. We will appreciate any candy you might bring for handing out along the Halloween Parade route. Enjoy the afternoon, perhaps with some food from El Sinaloense hot dog cart.
